Within my website you can find a selection of some projects that highlight my skills in the areas of graphic design, web design, illustrations, photography, storyboards and animations. I have very good knowledge of Photoshop for image management and post-production, Illustrator for creating logos, trademarks and vector illustrations, very good knowledge of InDesign for managing layouts for both print and digital projects, and finally After Effect for animations and Motion Graphic. I also have good basic knowledge in video production, conception, lighting, shooting and video editing and finally very good skills in website conception and design for digital products. As a web designer, I have excellent knowledge in html, css and Bootstrap.
I hold a professional diploma as a federal graphic designer from the CSIA in Lugano, a SUPSI Bachelor's degree in visual communication and two specializations in illustration from the Scuola del Fumetto in Milan and multimedia graphics specialization in Web Design from the SAE Institute in Geneva. Before tackling the technical aspects it is best to secure good prototypes with which through sketches, simple screen shots or any motion graphics, you can visualize and test the ambition of your ideas. Then once this phase is agreed upon I can offer a full service of state-of-the-art digital techniques with the support of competent professionals. I do not settle for superficial solutions just to facilitate the complexity of your ideas, but on the contrary I want to be able to handle a digital project from A to Z without putting limits on your ambitions. Illustrations
Drawing and illustration, allow to achieve very ambitious goals that very often determine the sale of a product, just think of the cover of a book or packaging, often purchased precisely because they are very attractive and engaging. Illustration also allows one to be able to represent what one is unable to achieve through photographic means, and consequently knowing and mastering these techniques further enriches a visual artifact.

Photography
A good graphic design is distinguished not only by typographical aspects, grids and layout, but also by the quality and stylistic consistency of the images. Very often there is a tendency to underestimate the importance of photography, and this greatly penalizes the final outcome of the project. In addition to providing valuable communication solutions, I can ensure excellent quality in photographic execution that can be used for printed and digital products. In my studio, equipped with professional lamps, suitable for both portraits and still life, I can guarantee excellent quality studio photos.

Storyboard
The storyboard is a fundamental phase in the realization of large projects: in fact, it allows to manage well the evolutions of the various project stages without anything being lost and left to chance. Thanks to a storyboard it is also possible to work well in a group because profitable moments of discussion can be established among the members of a team. Sometimes it is really necessary to invest in a well-defined storyboard, because before jumping into the executive phase of a project it is necessary to know exactly what you want to achieve, in fact this is a time when you should not be afraid to make mistakes and experiment, precisely because modifying a sketch is quite simple and immediate, while that, in a final phase in changes become much more complicated and you risk performing a lot of unnecessary and wasteful work.

Animated Storyboard
In addition to preliminary sketches, thanks to the use of software dedicated to animation I can also create animated sequences with the purpose of visualizing in a more concrete way the final result of the product. In addition to animated sketches at this stage è it is also possible to add sounds and simple visual effects so that one can get an even more detailed idea of the final product. Thanks to the animated storyboard, you can also check the effectiveness of different shots and the duration of your video or animation, so it also becomes easier to establish costs in a more detailed and precise manner.

Animation and Motion Graphic
The term Motion Graphic designates the art of animating graphic elements and applying visual effects to create dynamic and engaging content. Characterized by an essential and direct style, this technique is used for animated introductions, music videos, moving text, banner ads, and other visual projects that combine animation and design to achieve a powerful communicative impact.
There are a variety of techniques for making animations, and often the combination of simplicity and creativity results in stunning, high-impact effects, even without using advanced software dedicated to animation.
Video Art and Visual Effects
Visual effects play a key role in enhancing the aesthetics of films, animations, video clips and multimedia projects, helping to give them greater depth and visual engagement. Software come Adobe After Effects offrono strumenti avanzati per creare effetti speciali, permettendo di simulare luci, ombre, particelle, acqua in movimento, fuoco e altri fenomeni naturali o astratti. Tuttavia, quando questi effetti sono realizzati esclusivamente in digitale, possono risultare piatti e privi di spessore.
To further enrich visual effects, it is very interesting to combine real ones with digital ones, exploiting their interaction to achieve more complex and immersive results. This approach involves the physical creation of real elements, such as smoke, liquids, lights or moving textures, which are then filmed and later refined in post-production, using the advanced options offered by the software. in this way, the effects acquire greater visual richness and layering, offering new possibilities for intervention and transformation. The interaction between real and digital elements allows a wider range of modifications to be explored, giving the final result a deeper and more articulated dimension.
